When it comes to finding time for fitness, things could get cloudy. We have two kids and a dog so we need to budget our time and more importantly…our energy to get movin’. Either way, the way things are today, the best place to workout is undoubtedly your own home or neighborhood.
When it comes to home workouts on the TV, you think of the ’80s follow along videos with Richard Simmons, but in reality, there are some amazing programs that get you into shape and have you motivated every day. The golden age of streaming is here, and there are now so many options to choose from perhaps you don’t know where to start! Here are the main home workout places to go to online, and yes we’ve used these ourselves!
Daily Burn
Of all of the options, Daily Burn is the newest and most proactive when it comes to innovation in this space. They’ll stream LIVE workouts for you to work out to every day called 365. Other benefits of Daily Burn are the ways you can choose to work out with equipment, duration length, or pick your favorite trainer.
One downside is that there isn’t enough focus on the live streams and the trainers you may like don’t have enough videos to warrant following. It is a good option however with good price at nearly $13 a month. Try Daily Burn free for 30 days and see if it works for you.

Amazon Prime Video
One of the untraditional options would be to look at Amazon Video for a good fitness video. Often overlooked when it comes to your Prime Subscription, Amazon Prime Video has thousands of videos including Fitness. Quality is a bit of a sacrifice, and you’ll have a tough time finding something you may like, but there are options here, and it’s no additional cost should you have a Prime account.
Beachbody On Demand
If you are familiar with the online home fitness world, you know of Beachbody. The group that has brought P90X, an untraditional way to get fit within 90 days. Many people back up the program giving it validity. Of all of the streaming options, the trainers here are motivational and have the experience to boot. Of the options, it does come with a slightly higher price tag at $99 a year, but with the signup, there is a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, which is pretty much giving you a trial run at the program,
YouTube Premium
We didn’t overlook the web’s most sought-after media database ever. With a growing user base and king of all streaming options, YouTube flys well under the radar when it comes to Fitness Videos. Because fitness producers don’t look to YouTube for money or don’t have the knowledge to do so, several high-quality YouTubers make great fitness programs. One we connected with was HasFit, a family run fitness team that will rock your body to the fullest!

Motivation through your ears
Fitness videos in front of a TV are not for everyone. For those who like to break free of the house, or just want to move around a bit and still have motivation through a device like your smartphone, there are some neat options.
- MoveWith
- Aaptiv
MoveWith ($6.99 a month)comes with audio classes in areas like Yoga or Running for example. If you like to run on a treadmill, you may find that having someone provide you motivation could be the extra piece to getting into shape. What is Aaptiv? Well, Aaptiv is a popular alternative to MoveWith, that has a bigger following at this time, but a slightly higher price at $9.99 a month.
ClassPass
Crave a different feel every time you hit a fitness class? ClassPass gives you a ticket to try many classes in your area for $9 a month. This includes home fitness classes streamed to all of your favorite devices.
You can start learning how to do Yoga one day or join a Wellness class the next. Pick and choose what you want to do. After all, fitness is not a one size fits all model! (Thanks to HASfit for that line). Not everyone is a Gym or Crossfit guy or girl, but why not have the option to be either one?!
